Orange County Film Festival Results

The Orange County Film Festival was held on Saturday, May 7th at the Newport Dunes Resort. Congratulations to all of the nominated filmmakers and actors representing El Dorado High School, and a special congrats to our award winning filmmakers! "Alone" from Samantha Mar and Tahlia Pompel was named the Best Public Service Announcement. "Propaganda" from Jake Flores was named the best Promotional Video. "The User" by Yoosung Jung and Carline Dong earned the "Founder's Award" for overall excellence. And, YLHS student, Sierra Jones, earned the award for Best Actor for her role in the short film "The User." Overall, El Dorado earned 23 nominations for film awards.
